Trigon updates: January 2026
In January, the payment card got a Done button, tag filters started using exact matches and VAT numbers are also checked in the EU database.
January’s updates cover payments, tags, VAT number searches and posting templates.
New features
- The Done button on the payment card saves and locks the payment, then closes the card.
- Tag filters show entries that match the exact selection: for example, selecting tags one and two shows only entries with both tags.
- If Trigon cannot find a VAT number in the business register, it searches the EU database; read more about VAT number detection.
- Zero-value bank payments no longer arrive in Trigon through OpenBanking.
- Supplier searches are more accurate when applying a posting template.
Fixes
- Pressing Enter no longer opens the file upload window.
- You can now select different numbers of users at different levels of an approval workflow.
- Trigon no longer applies a posting template to an e-invoice when its line amounts total zero, and it notifies the user.
